OK so regulation is cool. It keeps things honest. If you buy a car that has X rating, you know it has X rating. If you get a degree from a school you know that it is equal to another schools degree of the same type.

This story worries me:

Now it is early days, and maybe I am missing something. But reading between the lines it sort of suggests that if you teach ANYTHING to ANY ADULT it has to be regulated.

What happens to the local knitting club, or the cross stitch club, or the astronomers club, or all the volunteers who teach at the local living and learning centres.

Regulation gone mad? Maybe, I will watch and see.
